As Jona Bechtolt declared, Wednesday’s concert was less like a tour kickoff and more like a goodbye show, as the band prepares to march across the states and Canada over the next month and a half. But it was also a welcoming party for YACHT’s first-ever backing band, The Straight Gaze, featuring friends and performers Bobby Birdman and Jeffery Jerusalem.
